Sharing media

Share albums and media collections with colleagues, clients and partners.

Overview

The sharing feature lets you share thematic collections (albums) with other people. Recipients can view, comment on and make selections from the media — without needing their own footage.one account.

Creating a share

  1. Open an album you want to share
  2. Click Share in the toolbar
  3. Add the recipients' email addresses
  4. Optionally set permissions and an expiry date
  5. Send the share

Feedback and selection

Recipients of a share can:

  • Leave comments on individual assets
  • Accept or reject assets
  • Their selection and comments are saved in the share

As the share creator, you can see all comments and the recipient's selection in your account.

Tips

  • Prepare albums for sharing — put together a curated selection in an album before sharing it
  • Use descriptions — add context to the media so recipients can better understand the content
