Rights management

Overview

Rights management lets you document the legal conditions for your media — from model releases and usage restrictions to brand rights.

Creating rights entries

Rights can be created at asset and episode level. Each rights entry consists of:

• Category — type of right (e.g. model release, usage licence, brand right)
• Conditions — specific restrictions and permissions
• Status — current approval status

Rights overview

Under Rights in the navigation you'll find two views:

• My rights — rights you have documented for your media
• Granted rights — rights you have granted to others

Tips

• Document early — record rights directly on import while the information is fresh
• At episode level — rights at episode level apply to all contained assets
• Check before distributing — ensure the necessary rights are in place before distribution
